Most applications are license-free, which reduces both the initial implementation costs and the ongoing operating costs many times over. All systems are similarly powerful and are only inferior to commercial solutions when it comes to very specific requirements. Symfony provides a basic architecture and a large number of components for developing your own web applications. This makes the application much simpler and at the same time more reliable, performant and secure.
The development framework is also used in numerous other software solutions. Each of the other standard software applications presented here uses Symfony under the hood.
