94 Porsche Centers - one CMS for all
Goals of central support for all Porsche Centers in Germany
-
Uniform CMS for all Porsche Centers
-
Display individual requirements of individual Porsche Centers
-
Central provision of general Porsche content and playout in all Porsche Centers
We now manage the websites of all German Porsche Centers and support them in many areas. Our tasks include the design and further development of the dealer CMS, which is used to centrally manage the websites of the German Porsche Centers.
The individual functionalities are constantly being developed and content added. From conception, design, editing and technical support to hosting, we work in all units on over 90 different websites. All Porsche Centers individually standardized
The basis for all websites is an individually developed content management system that was developed specifically for the special requirements of Porsche Center websites. Content can be maintained here once and displayed for all Porsche Centers. However, each Porsche Center can also add its own content individually.
Numerous functions also support the user's customer journey. For example, a form generator for creating individual inquiry or registration forms or the digital sales folder with which Porsche sales advisors can provide their prospective customers with individualized information pages.Spring & fall campaigns of the Porsche Centers
Two times a year, the Porsche Centers offer selected service offers or seasonally appropriate products. These are presented on a dedicated landing page. Together with Porsche, we develop the image material for this and take over the complete structure of the campaign in the CMS.
The particular challenge here is that each Porsche Center has different products and offers that need to be presented. At the same time, the Porsche Centers share a lot of the content, which can be managed centrally. The aim of the campaigns is to strengthen the dealership's workshop area and activate customers.Landing pages in no time at all
Porsche is an outstanding brand with unique vehicles and a very high level of innovation and performance. This always requires a very fast, sometimes short-lived communication and content strategy: the announcement of special vehicles, seasonal campaigns, trade fair websites for the IAA or other promotions and anniversaries. For them, a platform was needed that would enable faster project implementation outside of the "official" systems.
The landing page system, which we developed individually with Symfony, allows independent and user-friendly one-pagers to be created in a short time and the content to be structured with page elements, similar to a CMS. This significantly reduced the time-to-market for Porsche and has enabled a large number of different microsites to be created and published to date.
Despite the simple structure, it is also possible to connect external systems, e.g. to integrate forms or map functions with interfaces to charging stations for electromobility. The ultimate Porsche Experience
The Porsche Experience Center at the Hockenheimring has been open since 2019, where Porsche fans can fulfill a dream even without their own car: Experience Porsche in a very special environment! With various experience offers, there is something for every Porsche fan: for example with the Taycan on the racetrack or off-road in the Cayenne.
The aim of the Porsche Experience website is to provide a clear overview of all Porsche experiences and the Porsche Experience Center in general. Users should be able to get an impression of the Center and find the perfect experience for them. We were also able to successfully implement a user-friendly FAQ with search function.Of course, the website can be maintained at any time via an individually developed CMS and is editorially managed by us.In addition to vehicle sales, the dealerships' business model also includes the workshop and accessories area. Various campaigns are designed to help boost sales and increase service capacity utilization.
We implement regular service campaigns that are designed to activate and retain customers at the Porsche Center, either seasonally or on specific occasions. In a winter campaign, for example, discounts and promotional items were marketed via an Advent calendar. Personalized vouchers are automatically generated as PDFs and can be redeemed directly by customers. Each Porsche Center can also individually exchange and specify items or determine prices and discounts, as well as use recommendations from Porsche Germany. Large parts of the website can also be customized for the dealer in order to make the promotional websites differentiable.A campaign system developed by us based on Symfony makes the campaigns reproducible and maintainable. Import functions help to manage the individual dealer data from over 90 Porsche Centers.
Social Wall
Of course, well-known brands are also active on social networks, and Porsche in general and every Porsche Center is in no way inferior. Our task was to design and develop a social wall that makes it possible to import Facebook, Instagram and Twitter posts, as well as texts and images sent in by email, and display them in various ways on a central page.
The generated social walls are then integrated in various places on the websites of the Porsche Centers, but are also presented on large digital signage displays at events.
In contrast to ready-made software-as-a-service, the Symfony application developed by us has the advantage of being able to respond to Porsche's various, very individual requirements and is of course also significantly cheaper to operate over the lifetime of the system than the use of corresponding solutions from third-party providers.
Scalable and highly available operation
With our scalable hosting infrastructure in the cloud, we ensure high-availability operation for all Porsche applications. Amazon Webservices provides a scalable platform that has enabled us to meet the performance requirements that have grown over the years.
This enables us to guarantee the required performance at all times without compromising on reliability. For example, we use an Amazon Aurora database cluster or the CloudFront content delivery network from Amazon.
