MOSAIQ & Stay

Together for sustainable development

Growing your business, together in Uganda

Growth and development is part of MOSAIQ's DNA. It is also, but not only, about economic growth, but also about personal growth, empowerment and personal responsibility.

Unser neuer Mitarbeiter in Uganda: Ernest Rwendeire Namanya.

This is exactly what connects us with Stay: the charitable foundation is involved in Africa and helps local people to develop and grow in order to gradually enable them to live from their own resources and move from poverty to financial stability. After all, millions of people still have to live in poverty on this beautiful continent. Stay's successes are impressive and have a demonstrable and sustainable impact!

That's why Team MOSAIQ has grown by one more employee as of January 2024: we are taking over the financing of the local director to support Stay's work in the long term.

Three concrete examples of Stay's work

The approach and work of Stay is a concrete way to help people in Africa in a sustainable and lasting way. Especially because the approach is to empower them and build something for themselves. Sustainable growth in the best sense of the word.

Stay Seed
With the Stay Seed program, STAY provides African smallholder farmers with everything they need to harvest more vital grain: expertise, seeds and professional coaching. In this way, STAY contributes to food security in the region.
Stay Bee
Stay Bee provides local people with specialist knowledge, training materials and equipment for honey and wax production. And with a program partner organized by Stay, they have the direct prospect of a buyer for their products.
Stay Tree
Stay Tree shows farmers how they can plant trees to increase their income. Trees renaturalize the soil and form a fertile basis for fast-growing peanuts and beans, which sell well on the markets.

Honey and wax production

The experience of our projects shows: Smallholder farmers can significantly increase their income through the production of honey and wax - some even double it. Like Jasper Elong: Jasper was one of the 121 participants in the 2020 pilot project. He is convinced: "I have now seen that beekeeping is very good. That's why I will continue with it."

Grain production

Lillian Scovia attended Stay's grain training course. She used to have to work in the fields with her parents and younger siblings instead of going to school. Thanks to our project, the 20-year-old can now harvest much more and therefore earn more. This enables the family to send the younger siblings to school.
